Utah to join Pac-10
The Utah Utes have announced that they will join the Pac-10 to give the conference its 12th member.
Once the Pac-10 failed to reel in the six teams it wanted from the Big 12, they immediately turned their attention to Utah. Having already brought in Colorado as the 11th team in their conference, Utah rounds out the Pac-10.
As the 12th team, Utah will now allow the Pac-10 to have a conference championship game in football.
It’s certainly a big step up for Utah, which will enjoy a major increase in revenue as well as exposure for its athletic teams.
